Brex alternatives for companies outside the US
Brex is built around US companies. Founders outside the US, or with a new US LLC and no US credit history, usually need a different route to company cards.

Brex made the startup corporate card famous. It is also built around US companies: a US entity, a US bank account and enough cash or revenue to underwrite. Founders in Lagos, Nairobi, Karachi or São Paulo, and founders abroad with a new US LLC, often find they do not qualify. This guide covers what they use instead.
Figures are from each provider's pricing page, read on 1 November 2026.
What Brex offers, and to whom
| Brex tier | Price | Entities |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | 0 USD per user | Up to two entities (one global) |
| Premium | 12 USD per user per month | Multi-entity, US and international |
| Enterprise | Custom | Unlimited US or global entities; non-US entity setup, KYC/KYB and billing |
The pricing page lists "non-US entity setup" on Enterprise only. If your company is registered outside the US, talk to Brex sales before you plan around it.
Why credit is the hard part
A corporate credit card means the issuer lends to your company. To do that, it checks your bank balance, funding or revenue, usually in the US. A company with no US history, or a US LLC formed last month by a founder abroad, has little for an underwriter to look at.
A prefunded card skips this. It spends money already in the company's account. The limit on each card is your control, and there is no bill to pay at month end.

What to compare beyond the plan price
- FX on card spend. Your team in Kenya paying a US SaaS bill crosses a currency. Ask what the card charges.
- Cards per person and per vendor. One card per vendor makes cancelling a subscription a one-click job.
- Controls. Limits per card, merchant restrictions, freezing.
- Funding. How you top up the balance the cards spend from, and in which currencies.
Cards on Rivet
Every Rivet plan has unlimited digital cards, one per employee, vendor or ad account, each with its own limit. Physical cards come with Growth. Cards spend from the company's USD balance, which clients pay into directly, so there is no credit check and no monthly bill. See Cards, or virtual cards for ad spend if your spend is mostly ads. The corporate cards comparison puts all four side by side.
Questions people ask
Can a non-US company get a Brex card?
Brex's pricing page lists non-US entity setup on its Enterprise tier. A company registered outside the US should contact Brex sales to confirm whether it qualifies, and expect the process to be more involved than for a US company.
What is the best corporate card for a foreign-owned US LLC?
A new LLC owned by non-residents rarely has the US bank history that credit underwriting looks for. A prefunded card, which spends money already in the company's account, avoids the credit check. Compare FX costs and limits per card.
Prefunded card or credit card: what is the difference?
A credit card lets you spend now and pay later, up to a limit the issuer sets after underwriting. A prefunded card spends money already in the account, so there is nothing to underwrite or repay. For cash control, many finance leads prefer prefunded cards with a limit per card.
Can I use a prefunded card for Facebook and Google ads?
Yes, as long as the card works for card-not-present payments and the balance covers the charges. Use one card per ad account so a decline or a dispute affects only that account.
