What is a EUR bank account for a business?
A EUR business account gives a company an IBAN in its own name. With Rivet, clients across the SEPA zone pay it by SEPA or SEPA Instant, and the euros land in a EUR balance, ready to hold, convert or pay out. It is available from the Growth plan, after verification.
What each line does
Account name
Your registered company name, exactly as it should read on the client’s side. Euro-area banks check it.
IBAN
The one number a European payer needs. It carries the country, the bank and the account.
BIC
Identifies the bank. Many SEPA payments no longer ask for it, but it does no harm on the invoice.
How clients pay you
One IBAN reaches clients across the SEPA zone, and every payment arrives in a EUR balance.
- SEPA InstantSeconds, around the clockWhen the client’s bank sends it, weekends included
- SEPAOne to two banking daysRegular supplier payments
Who it suits
Invoice in euro and let the client pay as they would pay a local supplier, with your company as the payee.
Collect euro in one balance instead of converting each payout into another currency on arrival.
Hold euro where it was earned and pay sellers from the same balance on SEPA.

No. The account belongs to a registered company in a country we support, and its owners do not have to live in the EU. Everyone owning 25% or more is verified with ID and proof of address.
Yes. To the payer it is an ordinary IBAN, paid by SEPA or SEPA Instant with your company as the payee.
Since 9 October 2025 euro-area banks have had to offer a check that compares the name entered with the name on the account. Give clients your registered company name as it appears in your details.
Rivet is a financial technology platform, not a bank. Regulated partner institutions hold and move the funds, and to the person paying you the details work like any others.
You apply in about 15 minutes. We verify the company before the account opens, and the verdict comes within 3 business days.
